Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use Cardy: the iPhone app, its App Clip and widgets, and this website. Cardy is made by Edison Lee (“we”). By using Cardy you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. Your use of the app is also covered by Apple's Standard License Agreement.

Who can use Cardy

You must be at least 13 years old, or older if your country requires it. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission.

Your content

• You're responsible for what you put on Cardy: your name, photo, username, handles, links and anything else you share.
• Only share information that's yours. Don't add other people's accounts, numbers or photos.
• You keep ownership of your content. You let us store it and show it to the people you share it with, and to anyone who has your Cardy link, only so Cardy can work.

Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users

Cardy has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You may not use Cardy to post, share or send:

• harassment, bullying, threats or intimidation;
• hate speech, or content that attacks people for their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or age;
• sexual content or nudity, or anything that sexualizes minors;
• violent or graphic content, or content that promotes self-harm, terrorism or illegal activity;
• spam, scams, phishing or malicious links;
• impersonation of any person, brand, Cardy or Apple;
• content that infringes someone else's rights, or someone's private information without their consent.

You also may not send friend requests or cards to people who don't want them, create accounts to get around a block or a ban, or scrape, overload or disrupt Cardy.

Reporting and blocking

• Report: in the app, open anyone's profile (a friend, a friend request, a search result, a person in People, or a card in the App Clip) and tap the ⋯ button, then Report. On the web, use “Report this card” at the bottom of a card, or email support@entercardy.com.
• Block: tap ⋯, then Block. They can't find you, send you friend requests or send you their card, and they aren't told. You can unblock people in Me → Settings → Blocked People.
• What we do: we review every report within 24 hours. When content breaks these terms we remove it, along with the account or card that posted it, and we may ban that Apple Account from Cardy for good.

Cardy Premium

Cardy Premium is a one-time in-app purchase through Apple that unlocks unlimited cards and premium themes on devices signed in to your Apple Account. Apple handles payment and refunds. Use Restore Purchases in Cardy Premium to unlock it on a new device.

Ending your use

You can stop using Cardy anytime: turn off your Cardy link and delete your account in Me → Settings. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms.

Other apps and services

Cardy opens links to other apps and websites, like Instagram or TikTok. We aren't responsible for them, and Cardy isn't affiliated with or endorsed by them.

Disclaimers

Cardy is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We aren't responsible for content other people share. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for Cardy in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date above, and tell you in the app about important changes.
